With the rapid development of 5G, 6G and other communication technologies, the Internet has reached every corner of the world. All kinds of human, machine, and material resources from heterogenous networks, domains and worlds are gathered in cyberspace in the form of service under the new generation of information technology. The service world has expanded unprecedentedly, and the era of “Everything as a Service” has really come. New service forms and new service businesses are constantly emerging. Service is playing an extremely important role in promoting the upgrading of traditional industries. What does the service ecosystem look like now? How can we describe or analysis it? What new opportunities and challenges will this bring? What are the new theories, methods, and technologies of service computing in this new era?

Xin Jin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Peking University. His research is in computer systems, with a focus on software-defined datacenters, ubiquitous operating systems and cloud computing. He received his BS in computer science and BA in economics from Peking University in 2011, and his MA and PhD in computer science from Princeton University in 2013 and 2016. He has received many awards and honors, including USENIX FAST Best Paper Award (2019), USENIX NSDI Best Paper Award (2018), Google Faculty Research Award (2019), and Facebook Communications & Networking Research Award (2018).

Ying Li, Ph.D., associate professor in College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, director of the Center for Pension Health Innovation Service Research, Binhai Industry Technology Research Institute of Zhejiang University.
He received Ph.D. degree in computer software from Zhejiang University in 2000. He was selected into the talent project in Zhejiang New Century 151. He has been engaged in research in the fields of service computing, platform software, business process management and other industrial applications. Dr. Li has undertaken more than 10 scientific research projects as the leader. The research and development of the Qiantang middleware platform software and other achievements won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the first prize of the provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress. More than 70 research papers have been published and more than 60 national invention patents were proposed. He focused on the research on common support technologies in the field of modern service industry and had invented a series of core technologies around complex service systems.

Xiao Xue, born in 1979. Professor with the School of Computer Software, College of Intelligence and Computing, Tianjin University. His main research interests include service computing, computational experiment, complex network, etc. The published book "Computational Experiments for Complex Systems" is the first monograph in China to systematically elaborate on computational experiment methods.

Jian Wang is currently an associate professor with the School of Computer Science, Wuhan University, China. His research interests include services computing and software engineering. He is a senior member of the China Computer Federation (CCF) and a member of the CCF Technical Committee on Services Computing. He has published more than 40 papers in journals and conferences such as IEEE TSC, TEM, TKDD, and ICWS. He served as a co-editor of an ISO international standard and eight national standards. He is a recipient of the First Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of Hubei Province (2011 and 2015) and the First Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of the CCF (2014).

Liwei Shen is an associate professor in the School of Computer Science at Fudan University. He received the B.S. degree and the Ph.D. degree from Fudan University in 2004 and 2010, respectively. He now works for the software engineering laboratory. His main research focuses on mobile application development and analysis, robotic programming and cyber-physical-social systems. He participated in a number of national key research and development projects, and led a team to conduct research on the modeling and implementation of cyber-physical-social systems.

Ao Zhou is an Associate Professor at the School of Computing, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. She has published more than 50 papers, and her research interests include service computing, cloud computing, and mobile edge computing. She served as TPC Chairs of IEEE SAGC 2020, CBPM 2020, CollaborateCom 2016, etc. Her recent work can be found on premier journals such as IEEE TSC, IEEE TMC, IEEE TCC, IEEE TETC. She was awarded the Rising Star Award of IEEE Technical Committee on Cloud Computing, and the First Prize of WU WEN JUN AI Science & Technology Award of China.
School of Computer Science and Technolgy, Harbin Institute of Technology, Associate Professor
Zhiying Tu is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Technolgy at Harbin Institute of Technology. His research is in Big Service, Internet of Service, Cognitive service. He received his BS and MS in software engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2007 and 2009, and his PhD in Production Informatization and Automation from Bordeaux University in 2013. He has received Wu Wenjun first prize of artificial intelligence technology progress from Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (2020), and First prize of Heilongjiang education and Teaching Achievement Award (2020).
